I watched the movie ‘20 Feet from Stardom’ last night. If you haven’t seen it I encourage you to watch it – a fantastic movie. But I’m not writing to give movie critiques.
I’m writing because as I watched the movie I started considering its wider message about people who support the success of others.
That for me is what the movie epitomizes – people who give of themselves in support of others and how critical that function is to success. I began thinking about those people who provide support at our organization and that is why you are receiving this message. I want you to know that what you do is important, it matters. Without your contributions, this organization would not be able to deliver on its important mission. I to provide support in my role here and I know that the spotlight is not always on those of us that provide that support. In my small way, I want to send you this message as a spotlight on your work.
So thank you. Thank you for all the work that you do that is very important to our success as an organization. You make me successful here – you better believe I know that.
Now, would you do me a favor? Yes, I’m asking for your support, LOL. Would you forward this post to anyone you think I should have included and thank them for me?
All my best,
Glen
